Exemption Guidelines for Semester Exams
As we approach the end of the semester, we want to share the final exemption exam guidelines.
In order to exempt a final a you must have at least an 85 average for the semester and meet the following attendance requirements:
No more than 3 tardies in any one period for the class you want to exempt (If the class is double blocked, you cannot have four or more tardies for any one period to be eligible for an exemption)
No more than 3 absences in any one period of the class you want to exempt (If the class is double blocked, you cannot have four or more absences for any one period to be eligible for an exemption)
Dual credit must follow the guidelines established in the course syllabus
Perfect attendance exemptions can be used for a class with a 70 average or above as long as you have met attendance requirements.
All classes will be eligible for exemptions, this includes Accelerated and Pre-AP.
5 point weight is calculated in average for Accelerated classes.
10 point weight is calculated in average for PreAP classes.
