Pizza Hut Fundraiser

Our Pizza Hut fundraiser is all set for Oct 24th. We need staff volunteers to help work that night from 5-8pm. You don't have to work all 3 hours, just work what you can. Please tell Mr. Hussey what shift you can work.

The success of this event depends on how well we publicize it. So please put it in your newsletter and spread the word as much as you can! The more we sell, the higher percentage we get back! Online orders are accepted. Customers must have the code when ordering online or dine in.

PBS Focus of the Week!

Social Skills Mini Lessons-

Continue to REVIEW/RETEACH/PRACTICE Expectations/Super Skills with your class!

  • MAKE SURE THESE ARE NOTED IN YOUR LESSON PLANS! We have to make sure teaching and reviewing expectations are a priority!

Holiday Projects!

Mr. Hussey will be once again doing Penny Wars to help Wood Families in need. Ms. Jeter is planning a Food Drive through a PBL lesson.

Please let me know if you are planning anything. I don't want us to compete with each other. I want us to support each other. ONE TEAM-ONE DREAM!

Math Facts

Please build in 3-5 minutes daily for practicing math facts. This could be flashcards or games. Remember that this is PRACTICE time meant to learn facts. Not testing (Mad Minutes, Rocket Math)

Unity Day

Each year, the Waynesville School District participates in Unity Day. This is a day that everyone can come together – in schools, communities, and online – and send one large ORANGE message of support, hope, and unity to show that we are together against bullying and united in kindness, acceptance and inclusion. Please see the link below to get ideas that you can do with your class. Mr. Rose is having the kids write their name on a strip of orange paper so we an make one large orange chain to display in our school. He is also making a banner. THANK YOU MR. ROSE!
