SMS Football
Both the 8th and 7th Grade teams beat Dallas Life.
It was some great football to be seen and the fans enjoyed the energy and sounds of the SMS band who came out to support our Raiders. Thanks to all the players, band members, cheer and drill teams that made it a night to remember!
SMS Volleyball
Oct. 16 results vs. Community:

Brinley Andrews was a passing machine for the 8th grade B team.
On the A team, Kendra Meras' front row attacks were a force to be reckoned with.
7B won in 3 sets
Judy Samuel served 27 out of 75 points and Raven Kumar served and hit the ball well.
7A lost in 2 sets to the undefeated Community Braves.
Tinlee Bryant, our libero, had some great ups and passes.

Drop Off and Pick Up
Drop off: Please have students ready to exit vehicle when you pull up to where Mr. Tunnell is normally positioned, form two lines in front of the school (this will lower time spent waiting in line), please stay in the two lines in the morning to ensure students are safe crossing.
Pick up: Please form two lines, please let students know that you are there and have them looking for your vehicle, we will aide students crossing over to the second line to get in vehicles, once you have your child you may go to middle line and slowly drive out (please watch for staff and students walking across to second line). Please never park your vehicle and leave it unattended, also if your student is not going to be out soon (tutorials, athletics, etc.) please do not park in the pick up lines, please park in the parking lot and wait for students there.
Thank you all for helping us ensure our student's safety and making sure we make the drop off and pick up as seamless as possible. Drive safe!
