Mrs. Shaw's Weekly News
Sept. 8th - 11th
This Week
In Math, we worked on numbers 1-5. Students learned to represent the number in many ways including ten frame, tally marks, number line, and more. We also practiced using Seesaw to show our learning.
In Stemscopes, we began our study of weather. We are investigating what causes the weather to change everyday. Students identified different types of weather and why it is important to know the weather. They really liked discussing extreme weather.
By far our favorite thing this week was getting our iPads. We dove right in and quickly learned to use Seesaw, Epic (for listening to books), and Sketches (for drawing). The students did great and are learning quickly.
