ORIGIN

In 1979, "helping hands of Red Oak/Ovilla" was an organization operating from private homes, churches, and donated storage areas to help out people from North Ellis County. It later merged with a local non-profit organization called "Red Oak Area Outreach. In 2000 both of the organiztions became one with name, " North Ellis County Outreach" helping those in need in the towns of Red Oak, Oak Leaf, Ovilla, Glenn Heights, and Ferris.

Change & Impact

North Ellis County Outreach tries to eliminate poverty and bring the community together. It encourages people to be self-sufficient by offering free classes to those who are interested.

Pennies From Heaven

The North Ellis Outreach Center is also associated with a Thrift store that benefits those in need through out the communities of 75154 and 75125. People throughout the community are welcome to donate and volunteer individually or in groups.

Tuesday- Friday: 9:00 AM- 4:30 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM
