Carbohydrates: Most Common Macromolecule of Apple Pie
Carbohydrates turned out to be the most abundant macromolecule of apple pie. The top layer is bread which means it has a large amount of starch in it. The apples also have carbohydrates in them as well. Apple pie has a lot of sugar in it, in general. Carbohydrates are important because they serve as fuel and building material for our bodies as well as give us immediate energy. However, too much sugar is not necessarily good for us.
