Hearing and Vision Screening
Insight will be here on Monday Nov. 5 to provide both hearing and vision screenings to 4 year old children that still need it. If you are unsure if this is needed for your child, please check at the Promiseland offices. The fee is $10 for each test.
Silly Hat Day
Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 7 and 8 have fun sending your child to school in a silly hat, the more creative the better! Children enjoy this fun activity as much as the teachers do! The class with the highest participation will enjoy an ice cream sandwich party on their hat day.
Thanksgiving Chapel
On Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 12 and 13, the children will enjoy gathering together with other classes and learn about counting our blessings and being thankful as we sing fun songs, eat our snacks and wear turkey hats. Our verse this month is Psalm 118:1- O give thanks to the Lord for He is good. Our fruit of the spirit is "Thankfulness."
Our Teachers are “Pietastic”!
Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 14 and 15 parents can bring a pie, cake, cookies or dessert (store bought or homemade) to be shared with the teachers to enjoy over the Thanksgiving holidays. You can include a note, prayer or card on the baked good for a teacher. Collection tables will be in front of the Promiseland desk. Our five day classes have an assigned day with Ms. Debbie's class bringing Wednesday and Dana's class bringing Thursday. Teachers will take turns coming to the pietastic table and choosing pies or desserts to take home.
