Animals found in the Great Barrier Reef
Hydrophiinae
This animals is commonly known as the sea snake. The sea snake belongs to the family of venomous elapid snakes. All but one of these sea creatures can't "walk" on land. That exception is the Laticauda. These snakes can be very dangerous because of how venomous they are. If you're not careful you may find yourself trying to swim away from one of these at the Great Barrier Reef.
Mollusk
This sea creature belong to the invertebrate family. More than 85,000 different species have been identified. These animals are the largest marine phylum. Mollusk aren't only saltwater animals. They can also be found on land and in freshwater.
Sharks
If you're not careful you may find yourself face to face with one of these. Sharks are known for patrolling the waters of Australia and the Great Barrier Reef is not an exception. Since there is a large populations of small fish in the Great Barrier Reef, sharks come here to feast on them.
