Winter Band and Choir Concert
The Conrady Bands and Choirs performed in three concerts on Monday, December 13th. The ensembles performed a variety of pieces in Holiday, Pop and Classical styles. It was a great way to celebrate the all of the hard work of our music students.
Students Come Together to Deck the Halls
Student council hosted a decorating party for students to make each grade level hallway a bit more festive. Themes include the Peppermint Forest, Gingerbread and Winter Wonderland.
Girls All-Conference Basketball
Maraim Jarad (7th grader) was voted All-Conference in the 7th Grade Girls Basketball SWIC tournament.
Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
PBIS Ambassadors prepare for Kicking Off the New Year!
The PBIS Ambassadors is a group of students who are involved in supporting the school-wide incentives and behavioral expectations of the Conrady Jaguars. Their goal is to be involved in making decisions for activities such as spirit weeks, special events, rewards and making the school community an overall more fun place to learn. Here the students are preparing for the Kick Off assembly In January.

December Super Students of the Month
Teachers nominated 2 students from each grade level to represent our school as "Jaguar Super Students of the Month" for modeling positive citizenship characteristics and outstanding ROAR behaviors. Each student received Yard Sign to display this achievement and be recognized within the community. In addition, this picture is shared during morning announcements to the entire student body. Congratulations to Diego Pinedo (7th) Wiktoria Konopo (8th), Daniel Stachon (8th), Malak Melhem (7th) Victoria Burczyk (6th), and Alex Lisowski (6th).
Interviewing Astronauts in Language Arts
In Mrs. Lopez and Mrs. Tablerion's class, we have been learning about the Challenger and Apollo 13. We had the opportunity to create interview questions for astronaut Colin Bennett from Virgin Galactic and interview him via Google Meet!
Artists Recycle
Artists in room 68 use their creativity to transform old light-bulbs into winter penguins ready to ski the slops!
Design and Modeling
Mrs. Houston's 6th grade design and modeling students are in the process of making their take home cube project. Students first created a prototype using specific criteria and constraints.
Team Building
Adventure club worked on team work with who can build the tallest tower!
Project Linus
Throughout this last month, Mrs. Mathis's class teamed up with Ms. Zagorski's LEAP class to make blankets for Project Linus, a non-profit organization that collects homemade blankets to donate to children who are ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need!
Spanish Textiles
In 6th Grade Spanish, students learned about Peruvian textiles and then created their own masterpieces.
Engineering for Ice Cream
Mrs. Smotherman's and Ms. Glaubke's students design containers for ice cream.

Parents if you want to reach out to a social worker to discuss any concerns for your child/ren
you can now fill out the Social-Emotional Support Referral Form. Once submitted a social
worker will reach out to you to discuss the concern. You can also find the form on our website
under the Parent/Community tab.
Winter Break is Almost Here!
