Landform and Climates...
The landforms and climate aren't much. It is quite warm. We pretty much have all four seasons. So we do get winter and do get summer. But the climate is warmer than the New England colonies. Most of the landforms are based off of farming since it is crucial for us to survive. So in the middle colonies the soil is very rich and good for crops. Also there is water nearby for them to use. But it is salt water.
Middle Colonies History...
The history of the Middle colonies is quite interesting. Jamestown was in what they had called Virginia but what is now North Carolina. They had many reasons to come and start a settlement. This first and one of the most important reasons is to make money. They also needed to find a route to India for spices. The last reason for the Jamestown settlement to come to and start the middle colonies is because they wanted to form new relationships with Native Americans. Where the settlement of Jamestown was located there were three cultures. The English, Africans, and the Powhatans. They all shared ideas to help each other. While there the Jamestown settlers faced unsafe and unhealthy conditions. there were also many conflicts that had occurred.
Economical Characteristics...
The natural resources in the Middle area is great! The soil there is rich and great for for farming already creating a good job. Farming. The farmers grew wheat which was one of out main goods and helped create food. Another natural resource is the iron that was in their caves. Many were miners and mined for iron. Also water was obviously a natural resource that was close by. Some also had the job of church leader.
Culture, Religion, and Beliefs...
The middle colonies aren't as strict with their religion as some other colonies like the New England colonies. The New England colonies are very strict and have harsh punishment for their religion while the Middle colonies aren't as unaccepting to other religions. They belonged to many religious groups and were very welcoming to people of other religions. They also believed in freedom of religion and Native Americans personal and territorial rights.
