BBCHS Virtual Open House
On Tuesday, October 20th we invite you to visit your student's online classroom. Teachers will share their curriculum, syllabus, and expectations in a video presentation. You will need your student's username and password to visit their Google Classrooms. Each teacher has prepared a special video presentation to share with you. Presentations will be available in the Google Classroom stream beginning at 6pm on Tuesday, October 20th. If you have any questions, email Karensa.Wright@palmbeachschools.org or call (561) 752-1212.
Register for Testing
The Testing Registration Window closes on Monday, October 19, 2020 and will reopen again on Monday, October 26, 2020.
Please log in with your child and go to the Student Portal to search using the word “testing.” Select the tile that will appear “Testing Registration.”. This will allow you to acknowledge whether your child will or will not return to campus to complete their State or National Assessment opportunity.
Students coming onto campus to test must follow school and CDC guidelines and wear a mask on campus while following social distancing procedures.
Please note that if you select "No” for ACT-NCR, PSAT NMSQT, FSA ELA or FSA Algebra, you are missing an opportunity to meet a graduation requirement. The FDOE does not have any plans to waive the graduation requirements for 2020-2021.
If your student will need transportation, the school needs to know seven (7) days before the exam date. Once a student has completed a given test for that day, the school would need to provide a location for that student to work the rest of the day, until the PM transportation pick-up.
Please follow up with Ms. Parise, your school’s test coordinator to confirm the testing dates for the assessments you select. A majority of testing takes place at the start of the school day, so please plan accordingly once the dates are released by the school to you.
UNITY DAY - Wednesday, 10/21
Wear and share orange to show that we are together against bullying, and united for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
Make it ORANGE and make it end! What are your true colors when it comes to showing that you believe that all youth should be safe from bullying? Come together in one giant ORANGE message of hope and support, WEAR AND SHARE ORANGE to color our nation, and even the world, visibly showing that our society believes that no child should ever experience bullying.
