  • diminished interest and/or pleasure most activities


  • When a person, for 2 or more weeks, shows symptoms such as Hyperactivity and wildly optimistic notions

Bipolar Disorder

  • When a person alternates between lethargy and mania for 2 or more weeks


  • Causes delusions and distorted perceptions
  • Inappropriate emotions and actions (i.e. laughing as your mother dies)
  • Both auditory and visual hallusinations
