THE FUR TRADE
The fur trade began because when Indians got fur, the french brought goods like knives, blankets and cloth. Witch, the Indians needed. The fur trade ended because people felt like they were being cheated on by the fur companies because most trading in northern W.I.
LEAD MINING
Lead mining began because if you found lead you could sell it for alot of money to get rich fast. Lead mining ended because people took all the lead from the surface, which caused them to dig deeper, which meant hitting water. Then, most of the people moved on to farming.
LUMBER INDUSTRY
The lumber industry began because the water which was very important to factories. The lumber industry is still going on today.
