Weld Community Foundation Scholarship
The Weld Community Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2023 Community Foundation Scholarship Application is now available. It can be accessed on our website or by clicking on the following link:
https://app.smarterselect.com/programs/83783-Weld-Community-Foundation
Once again, the application process is completely online. Students from Weld County will be required to complete their application online unless other arrangements have been made. This means that transcripts, essays, references and financial information (if they want to be considered for need based scholarships) will need to be included as part of the application. For transcripts, students are asked to provide contact information for the person responsible for transcript requests at their school. That person will then receive an email requesting transcript information for that student.
PLEASE NOTE: The deadline for 2023 scholarship applications is February 1, 2023 by 4:00 p.m. – no exceptions (transcripts and references must be received by the deadline as well). Recipients will be notified by the end of April and awards will be made by the Community Foundation Board of Directors at our annual Scholarship Reception in May.

I MATTER ~ THREE FREE HEALTH SESSIONS FOR YOUTH
Colorado House Bill 21-1258 established this temporary behavioral health services program to provide access to mental health and substance use disorder services for youth, including addressing needs that may have resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic. The program is open to youth 18 years of age or younger or 21 years of age or younger if receiving special education services.
The program, called I Matter, is funded by the Colorado Department of Human Services, Office of Behavioral Health. The program provides up to 3 free behavioral health sessions for youth in Colorado and reimburses participating providers, which are licensed clinicians from agencies and independent contractors.
