October Count and Proof of Residency
The Student October Count is based on a one (1) day membership count in which districts are asked to report all students who are actively enrolled and attending classes through their district on that date. Student funding is based off of this number.
****Each year the State of Colorado Department of Education requires online schools to verify that their students and families reside in the State of Colorado.****
Below is a list of acceptable documents that we can utilize as your verification of Colorado Residency.
Your address documentation needs to be returned to JRLP no later than September 29th.

Quick reminder for attendance - Please email your student's teachers and Denise.Loya@jeffco.k12.co.us if your student is absent or tardy. Please let your teachers know if you need a pre-arranged absence and work with your student's teachers to be sure that your student's assignments and participation is on point!
You can use the Jeffco's Infinite Campus, Parent Portal to view absences and assignments as well!
5th Grade Field Trip
5th grade students will have an in person field trip to Young AmeriTowne on December 1, 2022. This is a wonderful opportunity that addresses concepts in government, personal financial literacy, and economics.
Each student who attends will apply for, interview for, and receive a job during their day in Towne! In order for us to prepare for the appropriate economy size, it is important for us to know how many students will be able to attend our in person field trip. Please fill out the attached form to share with us your intentions for this field trip. This is not a permission slip - more detailed information about our field trip will come out closer to our day in Towne.
