Dear Parents & Students,

Please join us in Thanking our amazing teachers, support staff and our custodian, Mme Hogan, here at École OLPH for all of their hard work and dedication to your children and our school.

Their constant effort to ensure that all students in their care receive boundless advice, support, and guidance with any situation your children may be encountering. They are selfless individuals who deserve our appreciation.

As part of Waste Reduction Week (October 16 to 20),

École OLPH will collecting your unwanted

shoes to give them a new life!

Your donated shoes can be in any

size, shape, and state of wear!

Students will receive an entry form per

pair of shoes, for a chance to win some

fantastic prizes.

Let's see if we can collect 300 pairs of shoes!!!

So start asking everyone you know for their shoes!!!

Shoes are a difficult item to recycle ~ until now!!!

This shoe drive will benefit directly as we rehome

some shoes locally that are in excellent condition.

The remaining shoes will be sent to Sole4Souls, a not

for profit group in Ontario that helps developing

countries build their economies while diverting waste

from the landfill at the same time.

The first Friday of every month we will have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Everyone is welcome to come for longer or shorter periods of time to spend with Eucharistic Jesus. We begin with the Rosary at 8:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 8:30 a.m., then the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed all day for Adoration and prayer with Benediction at the 6:15 p.m. Mass. There is a sign-up sheet in the Foyer. We are looking for two people to sign for each half-hour to make sure there is always someone present with the Blessed Sacrament exposed. We invite everyone to come and spend some time with our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.
