People in North Korea have their rights taken from them by their leader Kim Jong-un. The population currently stands at around 24.45 million.Some of their rights that are being violated from the Universal of Human Rights are Articles 5 people arrested in north Korea are routinely tortured by officials,6 wearing jeans is illegal in north Korea,11 death penalty can be applied such as a crime against government or non violence like fraud,17 only military and government officials can own motor vehicles , possessing of bibles be punished with death in north Korea,21 north Korea holds election every 5 years in which the ballots there is one candidate,23 creation of policy of Juche,26 students are required to pay for chairs, desks, and heating fuel,27 watching south Korean movies and distributing pornography may be punished with death. and more. This is an important issue because many people are suffering they have to do illegal things just so they can be able to watch television and be able to express their opinion in religion. People are arrested in North Korea are routinely tortured by officials. Wearing jeans is illegal in North Korea, Students are required to pay for chairs, desks, and heating fuels. People in North Korea are affected by this issues. This is a problem because many people in the world have encounter this before and they are basically doing nothing to help out others in need.

North Korea Freedom Coalition he Coalition currently has over 70 public member organizations representing millions of American, South and North Korean, and Japanese citizens as well as other nations, along with many individual members. The Coalition also has private members that provide humanitarian relief inside North Korea and members in China and other nations that feed, shelter, and rescue North Korean refugees.There is also the committee research and publication activities focus on how the north Korean regime abuse the rights of citizens.
