Mad Science, The Science Behind Superheroes: Thursday, June 11 at 10 am
Take a look at everyone's favorite super powers with Mad Science of Greater Kansas City for all ages.
Art Lab: Thursday, June 11 from 1-3 pm
Join us for DIY Puffy Paint for all ages.
Marvel Makers: Thursday, June 11 from 4-6 pm
Students going into 6th grade and older will make transform ordinary bookends into works of art.
Family Bike Festival: Saturday, June 13 from 9 am - 1 pm
During the festival, bring your bikes to get a free tune up, have fun during some silly races, learn how to be safe on the road and test your skills on a family bicycle ride. After the ride, cheer on the Bike Across Kansas riders as they arrive at the school. Visit with the cyclists to see what they learned biking across the state. Check out the bike display, ride a tandem bike, visit balloon and face paint artists. When a family preregisters, all children eat free. Parents can eat, too! Chris Cakes lunch begins at 11 am for $5/per adult
Tuesday Tucks Me In: Sunday, June 14 at 2 pm
Voted Best Nonfiction Children's Book of 2014, Tuesday Tucks Me In is a day in the life of a tremendous service dog. Join us for this special appearance from Tuesday and his human companion, Fmr. Captain Luis Carlos Montalvan. Books will be available for purchase.
