Cruthird's Corner
Dear Cooper Comet Families,
It is with heartfelt words that I write this letter to inform you that as of June 30, 2021. I will be leaving the position of principal of Cooper Elementary School and beginning in a new position as principal at Hassan Elementary School in Rogers, MN. Although I will miss my work with our school family, I look forward to the challenges this new position has to offer, as well as the opportunity to be closer to family, especially my daughter Jasmine and 4-year old granddaughter Avery.
It has been a pleasure to serve the Cooper community since July 1, 2017. I hope you know how much I have enjoyed these last four years. It has been my good fortune to experience a wonderful partnership with the students, staff and families in our community. Samantha Chizauskie, currently the principal at Foxboro Elementary School, will become the principal at Cooper Elementary School, effective July 1, 2021. She is looking forward to working with all of you and getting to know each of you.
I would like to thank you for the opportunity to serve you, your children and this outstanding school community and hope you know I am especially proud of our students. I look forward to hearing great things about their accomplishments as they continue their education at Cooper Elementary School and beyond.
Sincerely,
Ms. Cruthird
