Message from Dr. Moore
I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful September was for all of us! Students were able to use our science lab! We had an amazing Dads and Donuts! 4th grade took an awesome field trip to an anti-bullying Monster Truck Show! Our fabulous PTO awarded some phenomenal grants to our amazing teachers! Overall, it was a truly successful month!
We have some more exciting news! We showed enough growth last year to not be a focus school! We are racing on the right track to success! Our reading teachers attended an amazing training by the outstanding Melissa Leach and are beginning to incorporate the strategies we learned! I am encouraged by the work ethic this staff continues to show everyday! The students are persevering and come in with a smile! Together, we truly are one team, with one purpose!
I know I said this last month, but it is so incredibly true: I am truly Parmley PROUD.
Thank you again for all you do to make Parmley the best school in Willis ISD!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us! We are always here for you!
Thank you,
Kelley Moore, Principal
Susan Fossler, Assistant Principal
Grace Smith, Counselor

Thank you for your continued support!
Grandparents Day
Please use this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LSFMCMR to RSVP to attend lunch with your student/grandchild.
We will send home a form for early checkout in mid-October. Please look for this in your child's Tuesday folder if you wish to check your student out after lunch.
College Readiness!
If you are able, please share your college pride. We invite you to donate a college pennant so we can add it to the future front hallway college display. Staff and students are encouraged to wear their college shirt every Monday.
Attendance Initiative
For students to qualify for a chance to win a prize from the Attendance Wagon, they must have PERFECT attendance each week. We will pull the report on Monday morning and add their names to the buckets for a chance to win on the last Friday of every month starting in September.
Qualifications for a Prize Wagon Entry:
Zero Absences from Monday-Friday
Zero Tardies
Students CANNOT leave school early
Students must be present to win
It is imperative for your student's success that they are at school on time and all day EVERY DAY! Thank you for helping your student be successful by making sure they are here each day!
Of course, if they are sick, please keep them home (i.e. fever, vomiting, etc.)
Thank you!
