The Progression of Engineering
Buildings
In 1930 the 40 Wall Street building was built. At a height of 927' it seems short compared to the One World Trade Center. Opened in 2014 it is 1,792' tall.
Dams
Opened in 1936 the Hoover Dam is still to this day the biggest dam in the US. It also generates about 4 billion KWh a year. No other dam has topped this yet.
