Class Celebrations 🥳
We are celebrating Independence! 🥳 My little Scholars have come so far and are truly modeling self-reliance, discipline, concentration, self-awareness, motivation, confidence, and perseverance. All of them are mini little Teachers who continue to coach and help each other (including myself☺️) daily. It is so neat to see their little personalities unfold and to see them in action working independently and together. I am so very proud! 🥰 Hats off to you parents for your support and help at home and school! 🎉
We started our "ABC countdown to Summer!" This is a fun way for us to celebrate Kindergarten by doing an activity each day at school and mark the appropriate letter off to keep track of how many days are left. We will make each day count with each other!🌈❤️👭 Click here to view the countdown.

Message from the 📚Library:
Families, I need your help! I absolutely love our "no limit on books" policy, but we have SO many students with overdue books right now. There is an automated email that goes out weekly to let you know that your student has overdue items, but I'm hearing from some parents that the emails have been going to their spam folder and they were not aware of the situation. Please check your spam folder for emails from the River Ridge Library. Some students still have books out from the very first time they had library back in August!
*Note: we NEVER charge a fine for late books. The only time we ask for payment is if a book has been completely lost or damaged beyond repair. Also, your student can turn in their library books anytime, not just on their library day!
If you would like to join the library Remind (which helps a LOT with kids remembering to bring their books back), please email me at karen.cunningham@leanderisd.org and I will let you know the code for your child's library day.
