Dear Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed Labor Day weekend with their families, friends, and loved ones. As we enter into the month of September, it gives us opportunity to reflect, regroup, and rejuvenate. As a community, it is more important than ever before that we collaborate and work together to make sure our children are successful. Parents, thank you for the time you spend everyday on the digital platform helping your children access eClass, Google Classroom, live sessions, and daily assignments. Also, thank you advance for your patience as we overcome technical difficulties and adjust our rituals and routines. As we continue this month in the mode of collaboration we have school events scheduled in which we will need your input, we will share our curriculum expectations, and students may continue to experience a love for reading. Whether it be through learning remotely or within the school building we are connected.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Nimmo- Smith Principal

Welcome back 4th & 5th grade students

Today we open our doors to 4th and 5th grade students. We anticipate a successful transition as we enter the last phase of our district re-opening plan. Parents thank you in advance for your patience as we streamline our school processes and procedures. 4th and 5th grade parents please note the following:

1. All live sessions have been canceled today so that in person students may become acclimated to the new school environment. Asynchronous assignments are posted for all students learning from home to complete. If any questions arise please contact the teacher.

2. Starting Thursday, September 10, 2020 4th and 5th grade teachers will teach all students simultaneously (digital learners and face to face learners ).

3. The teacher's office hours have been adjusted and can be located on their eClass pages.

Lunch

Lunch for our digital students are scheduled for 12:00 pm-1:00 pm.

We are requesting that every parent fill out a lunch application.
