MARCH 11, 2021
Dear HRMS Families,
This newsletter has information about our Return to In-Person Learning Schedule, Spring Parent Teacher Conferences, Important Reminders, and this week’s Principal’s Chat.
Return to In-Person Learning Schedule
We are very busy planning for the return of all of our kids! Here is our return to in-person learning grade level schedule;
HRMS In-Person Student Schedule
Student Start Window: 8:25-8:40 AM
Student End Time: 1:04 PM
Please note:
HRCSD secondary schools will be required to follow a 4 / 5ths attendance plan to comply with current social distancing recommendations. This means that students will attend in-person school 4 out 5 days per week. Student families will be assigned one at home learning day per week based on your child’s last name. All students in that family will have the same day. Students will view classroom learning that is streamed to their iPads on their at home learning day.
Students in compacted math, algebra, and geometry will move to another classroom for instruction with their current teacher while others are learning math.
Our non-academic core classes include the following courses: Health/PE, English Language Development, Read 180, Learning Center, Math/Reading Intervention, AVID, and STEM/Humanities Extension.
Grab and Go Lunch/Breakfast will be available for students who have signed up for this option.
ALL STUDENTS WILL BEGIN THIS SCHEDULE ON Monday, April 5.
Spring Parent Teacher Conferences
Your child’s teachers recently emailed their families a Calendly link to schedule parent conferences. Here is a link that allows you to see all of our parent conferences schedules. Mr. Apland and I encourage you to reach out to us about our schedule and any concerns you may have about the return to in-person learning. We know that most families are very excited about the return to school while being concerned about student safety. We recognize some of you are more nervous than excited. Please reach out if you have questions or concerns. We are here to help!
