Netherlands used to be a part of Spain until the Netherlands won the revolt against them. The Netherlands is located in Western Europe, bordering the North Sea, between Belgium and Germany.

The Netherlands is 41,543 sq km total. 7,650 sq km is water from canals and lakes. Coastal parts of the Netherlands are lowland, reclaimed, and their are also some hills in the south.


Government: The Netherlands government is a constitutional monarchy. For their currency they use the euro. Before the euro they used the Dutch Guilder.
