Robison Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Mrs. Kubis, who was selected as our Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Kubis is a 3rd-grade teacher and our technology liaison. We enjoyed recognizing her for this honor, and we salute all of our teachers who make a difference every day!

Student Lanyards

For safety reasons, all students, K-5, must wear their lanyards throughout the school day. This ensures that students would have their identification in the event of an emergency. Students also use their badges daily in the cafeteria if they are purchasing items. We need for all students to develop the habit of always having their lanyards; however, some have brought them home and forget to bring them back. We appreciate your support!

Congratulations to all of our spelling bee participants!

3rd grade: Haylee Mosman and Ibrahim Musa

We are very proud of all of our participants. A big congratulations to our champion, Molly Butler, and to our runner-up, Nathan Attobrah!

Library News

Hello Friends, we are excited about our upcoming Name That Book, NTB, competition in February.

Grade level competition will take place on Thursday, February 10, during the students' large group time:

3rd @12:40-1:35

4th @ 2:10-3:05

5th @ 3:10-4:05

Parents of students competing are invited to attend. Please fill out the forms sent home the first week in February. This will help expedite the printing of your name tag to enter the building. The top two scoring teams from each grade level will move on to compete on Thursday, February 24 at 9 am in the library. Our final highest scoring team will compete at the Berry Center on Tuesday, March 29! Keep reading and supporting our wonderful teams.

In February the library will have a school-wide incentive to promote literacy. It will require students to read to parents, online, and a variety of activities to motivate and make reading fun and rewarding.

March brings us Read Across America. We will have Green Eggs and Ham, and Dr. Suess T-shirt day along with other Dr. Seuss-themed activities. It’s always a pleasure to read to the students, and thank you for your support.

Ms. Emerson Wolfe

Upcoming Second Grade Program

Second Grade Parents,

Your child has been working so hard preparing for the Second Grade Program. It is so much fun practicing the program with them. So please, mark your calendars for March 8, 2022. We are preparing a musical called “Pajama Party”. We will be performing at two different times. Group A and B will perform at 6:00 p.m.(please have your child in the music room at 5:50 p.m.) and Groups C and D will perform at 7:00 p.m. (please have your child in the music room at 6:50 p.m.) Your child should already know what Large Group letter they are. Your child will need to wear pajamas that night and also bring a small to a medium stuffed animal. We cannot wait to perform for you. Thanks so much for your support. If you have any questions, please contact

Vision Screening Results

If your child did not pass the vision screening completed at school, you should have received an email from our nurse, Joyce Chiasson. Paper copies of vision referrals were also sent home with all students.

Thank You, Volunteers!

We are so fortunate to have incredible volunteers at Robison. December was especially busy with our volunteers running our Holiday Shoppe during the school day and one evening. Our holiday parties were amazing, and this also required many volunteers. Thank you to everyone who volunteered for a shift! We also appreciate all of the wonderful holiday treats donated by so many of our parents. Our staff works incredibly hard, and the appreciation from you means so much.

This week, our Pre-K students were treated to some exciting animal demonstrations by our PTO VIPS Coordinator, Tonia Jaeggi, and her husband, Bill Jaeggi. In order to present animal demonstrations, volunteers must first participate in training through our Science Resource Center. We appreciate the time it takes our volunteers to present to our students and to train for these presentations.

Lunch Visitors

On Thursday, January 27, we will resume having lunch visitors at Robison! Please be sure to read over the guidelines on the flyer below. All guests MUST have their license scanned before being allowed to enter the cafeteria. You will be given a nametag after you have checked in. Lunch visitors may not enter the instructional areas. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we restore this fun opportunity. Please arrive a few minutes before your child's lunchtime, and expect larger crowds on Friday. We do not have seating areas for guests, so it is possible that visitors will need to wait outside until we are able to accommodate you in the cafeteria.

If you wish to purchase a school lunch, the prices are different than the student prices. Adult lunches are $4.25, water is 50 cents, and ice cream is 75 cents. These may be purchased using your child's account, as long as you've added money to their account.

If you'd like to have your child's birthday celebrated at school, we offer parents the opportunity to purchase ice cream from the cafeteria to be distributed to their child's class during lunch. In order for our cafeteria to prepare for this, you must give at least one week's notice. You may email if you are interested.
