THANK YOU
Thank you to all of the families who came out to CRES Fest last Friday! What an event!!! We are still reconciling expenses and finalizing payments on silent auction baskets so we don't have a final number yet. Our preliminary projection is that we raised about $12,000. WOW!!!
Whether you ate dinner from the food trucks, played in the game wing, or placed bids in the silent auction, YOU contributed to that total. YOU made a difference at CRES. Thank you!!!
And a special thank you to the parents, guardians, teachers and former students who volunteered on Friday. This was a big event and we needed lots of hands-on-deck to pull it off.
Thank you to those of you who spent countless hours planning, building, and running the game wing. Thank you to those of you who spent countless hours soliciting, gathering, and building baskets for the silent auction. Thank you to those of you who scheduled, negotiated and organized the food trucks. Thank you to those of you who spent all or part of their night working the event. None of this would have been possible without each and every one of you.
OPEN FORUM MEETING
Our final open forum meeting of the school year is on Tuesday, May 5, at 7:00 p.m. in the Art room. Please join us to discuss the 'hits & misses' from CRES Fest, get a final financial report of the year, and to say "thank you" to the Room Parents and staff that have made a difference this year.
FIELD DAY VOLUNTEERS
CRES Field Day is on May 29 and we need YOU!
Volunteers are needed for both morning and afternoon shifts to help supervise and direct games. To help you plan your volunteering shift the 3rd and 4th grade field day will be from 9:30-11:30am and 1st and 2nd grade will be from 1:00-3:00pm. The games are centered around a theme and all created by Mrs. Fox. So all we need is YOU and your excitement to help make this a success!
If you are interested in helping out in the morning or afternoon and want to be part of a fun filled day, you can contact the field day coordinator, Amy Roudebush, by email at amyroudebush@gmail.com or by phone 317-690-1709 and she will be happy to assign you a spot and a game to direct.
Your help is much appreciated and we need YOU to come out on May 29th and enjoy with us CRES Field Day 2015!! Make your kid's day and come out and PLAY!!!
Thanks,
Mrs. Fox

It’s hard to believe the end of school is right around the corner! May is such a busy month at HSE schools, but it is also the perfect time to recognize a special teacher or staff member that has made a difference for your child. If you are interested in nominating a teacher, counselor, nurse, bus driver, or other staff member for the district wide “Thank an Educator” Honor Roll, please visit www.hsefoundation.org/donate/thank-educator.
