Want to View your Student’s Grades: BMMS parents can watch this video to learn from Mrs. Taylor, our counselor, how they can view student grades on Synergy. Synergy is the official grades for Black Mountain students. LINK
A Raider’s Story - Mrs. Armacost: From time to time, we like to share a story about a member of our Black Mountain family. This week, A Raider’s Story is about BMMS math teacher Mrs. Armacost. LINK
Library Checkout System: Our Library has created a weekly library book checkout system. We will accept requests until 2:00pm on Tuesday, on Wed., you or your parents can come to the library door at the front of the school to pick up your book(s), between 9:30-11:30 or 1:30-3:30. Please wear a mask and make sure to social distance on the Black Mountain campus. Check out the form to learn more: Black Mountain Library Check-outs
FORGOT AN ITEM? At this point and time, we will not be accepting forgotten items for students to pick up in office. Please establish routines so your child has everything they need and are ready for school to ensure they have a successful day. Please contact your child’s teachers directly, if you have questions regarding late homework. This will also help alleviate additional contact for students and staff to help them remain safe and healthy.
Veteran’s Day in November: The week of Nov. 9-13 will look different than most weeks. Veteran’s Day is in the middle of the week. We adjusted the week to ensure the same number of instructional periods. Here’s a peek:
Monday November 9 Start Time of 8am, Homeroom + Periods 1-3
Tuesday, November 10 Start Time of 8am, Homeroom + Periods 4/5-7
Wednesday, November 11 Holiday - Veteran’s Day
Thursday, November 12 Start Time of 8am, Homeroom + Periods 1-3
Friday, November 13 Start Time of 8am, Homeroom + Periods 4/5-7
We appreciate all of your support.
A better school starts with each one of us.
