Message from the office.

I hope everyone is enjoying a bit of the warm weather. I know it has been nice to have a break from the rain.

We had a great day celebrating Kindness here at BCE. We had an all-school assembly and then linked our kindness chains. Please see the pictures below. I am in awe of the amazing community we have here at BCE. We continue to focus on character traits each month, but our 21 days of kindness is my favorite. Thank you for supporting the BCE Way with your children at home.

Please make sure you complete the intent to return the form below if you haven't yet. We are hoping to have all families complete it by 2/17. This information is really important to us for planning for next year.

5th-grade teachers will send home a paper version of the intent to return form today. Please return that ASAP so we can help the middle school plan for next year. I can't believe our 5th graders will be leaving us so soon.

We will be opening registration for next year on Tuesday, 2/21. If you know of anyone or have students yourself that will be joining the BCE family next year, please stop by the office and see Mrs. Piccolo. She has all the paperwork.

Reminder we do not have school Monday, 2/13, or 2/20. Have a great 3 day weekend.

We will be holding hearing and vision screening on all Kindergarten, Second, Fifth grade students, students who are new to the district and students who have been referred by their teachers on February 24th and February 27th. Please have your child bring their glasses or wear their contact lenses to school so that they can be screened while wearing them for the best results. If you do not want your child to be screened, please fill out the Google form that is being emailed to you.

Read A-Thon is Here!!!

February 1st- March 3rd

Flyers with info on how to log in under your student's teacher and track minutes have either been sent home. This is a great way to spend a few minutes each day reading with your student and also raise money for our school. If you do not want to raise money, we still encourage you to read and track your minutes. We will have great prizes.

All money raised will support Art Masterpieces, Learning Garden, and other educational materials for students.

For top readers, we will have great prizes. You will have the opportunity to do a pie in the face of teachers, parents, and even Mrs. Fippin. We can't wait to see how much we can read.
