"Thomas Paine was born in Thetford, England January 29,1737". "When Tom was thirteen he started working with his father as a stay maker". (The thick rope stay used on sailing ships).Later then he worked as a custom police officer, but before long he was fired.

"Thomas Paine became one of the most influential writer in history".In 1774 Thomas Paine moved to America."He got his first job as a clerk editor for the Pennsylvania magazine".Later then Tom became interested in the civil war.

"During the civil war Thomas Paine published the common sense"."Over 100,000 copies where sold of the common sense."The common sense also made an argument which also made the confederate states to split from each other.Thomas became an assistant to General Nathaniel Green during the civil war.

"After the civil war was ended Thomas Paine moved back to England and got involved in the French revolutionary war and wrote Rights Man in support of french revolution"."After that war was ended Thomas Paine moved back to New York, America In 1802 and died in America in 1809.
