Interested in working here at La Grange Elementary? We are currently looking for a custodian. Please contact the Family Resource Center here at La Grange if you are interested.

We will be setting up a table for the lost and found items. Please ask your child(ren) to check this table for any missing items. Items will be donated at the end of the month. You may come after school to door 4 (by the playground) to check if you have any missing items.

Be sure you stay up-to-date with the ever-changing district calendar and follow us on our Facebook page so you can plan ahead!

Hello to our Leopard Families from the Family Resource Center. I want to continue to share the final three tips from the University of Kentucky Center on Trauma and Children regarding the positive effects of social interactions on one's mental health. These tips are to encourage us to build strong social networks to sustain us during these challenging times.

The Apex Fun Run (formerly Walkathon!) will be on Friday 4/1 (no kidding 😆)! We (PTA) are raising money to give the gym a facelift (and improve security with window screens). We would LOVE (and can have!) parent helpers during the day on 4/1 and also the afternoon of Friday 3/25. Email lagrangeelementarypta@gmail.com to get more details and to sign-up! PLEASE EMAIL ASAP IF YOU PLAN TO HELP, we might be able to get you a Fun Run shirt ($8) to match your child's if you know you can volunteer on 4/1 (no guarantees but it will be a quick turnaround if it's an option).

• SBDM (Site-Based Decision Making) Council needs a parent - should it be you? SBDM members meet once a month to make decisions for LaGrange Elementary School. Nomination forms will come home soon, nominations are due by 3/25 and the vote will be online through 4/1 and in-person on 4/1 (at the Run Fun!).
• PTA Board needs new parents - consider it! Like SBDM you can nominate yourself or someone else (with their permission), it's work but it's one sure-fire way to know what's going on with the school, because you are helping decide that it will happen! Forms will come home soon, PTA Board nominations are due by 4/1, the Nomination Cmte will create a slate by mid-April for review. Vote on that slate will be at the last PTA General Mtg (6:15pm 5/4).

Next Den meeting for Pack 200 Cub Scouts is tonight, Tues 3/15, 6:30pm, LaGrange Presbyterian Church on Prestwick Drive. Our Den meetings are where we spend time with other Scouts in the same grade and work on earning Adventures.
