The Oily Dojo - April Newsletter
Thieves Thieves Thieves!
Have you tried Thieves yet? Have you fallen in LOVE with Thieves yet?!
Spring cleaning is always a thing in our household. Oddly, here in Japan, the annual big clean isn't done at the beginning of spring, but rather just before New Year's. I don't know about you, but I feel much more inspired to open all the doors and windows of the house to sweep out the dirt and grime that has collected throughout the year when the weather warms up and the sun starts throwing some heat into its rays, rather than when it's chilly out and winter's on its way in.
Young Living Canada's April promotion is all about Thieves, which is THE BEST combination of oils to help clean our houses, our work/travel environments and even our bodies. In case you're wondering where the name "Thieves" comes from, it's based on the legend of the group of grave-robbers during the plague in Europe who did not catch the disease while robbing the bodies of deceased victims. Upon catching the group, the authorities told them they'd be released IF they revealed their secret recipe of herbs they were using to keep themselves healthy. The plants they were using were all highly immune-system supporting ones, and the blend of essential oils that D. Gary Young was inspired to include in his proprietary blend are: Lemon, Rosemary Cineol, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus and Clove.
Once you've made the switch, as our family has, to the entire line of Thieves products Young Living has to offer (from toothpaste to hand purifier to household cleaner), you won't ever want to go back to using synthetically-fragranced, harsh store-bought products (>_<)
