Trick or Teach October 26-28, 2016
- Sex(ED) the Movie Belk Library #114--counts as a seminar credit when you email or bring by extra credit slip to Trisha Caviness in the James Center
During their 2nd Annual Sex Positive Week, Wellness and Prevention Services will host a showing and discussion of Sex (ED) The Movie. Produced and directed by Brenda Goodman, this film shows the evolution sex education in the US from the early 1900s to the present. A mix of humor and shock, Sex (ED) The Movie reveals how sex education affects identity, relationships, and intimacy within our culture. Viewing of the film will be followed with a brief panel discussion. This event is open to all students, faculty, and staff.

Thursday, October 27
- The Mountaineers will be playing Georgia Southern. Since we know how much everyone loves football and this is an away game, we will be live-streaming the game in the College of Ed! Come to room 124 of the RCOE around 7:30pm to watch with us! Everyone is more than welcome to bring pillows, blankets, a lawn chair, snacks and whatever else will make you most comfortable to watch the game! - Spooky Duke Race
The race is Saturday, October 29th, 2016 child care starting at 7:30am with the races beginning at 9am. We have a lot of opportunities for you to get involved. Below is a link to a google form that you can sign up for set up, childcare, costume march, and clean up. This event is so much fun and we hope to see all of your bright and shining faces there! - Costume Party-we will be having a costume party in the College of Ed! The costume party will start at 7:00pm in room 124, and will cost $5 to get in. There will be dancing, food, movies and lots of Halloween fun! We will also be giving out an award for the best costume, so be sure to dress up! This party is welcome to anyone (even if they aren’t in App Ed) so bring lots of friends! We would love for people to bring a food or drink to share with everyone, and will be giving 30 minutes of service to anyone who brings something! Come dance with us, it’s gonna be fun!
