Classroom Management - Attention Signals
Many teachers have attention signals already in place, such as:
~Give me 5
~May I have your attention
~Class,class, class...yes, yes, yes
Consider the following about your attention signal:
1. Have you taught and continued to practiced it with your students?
2. Are you consistent in its use?
According to Sprick (2009), this quick tool can help your class function with greater ease. If you would like me to come observe/ give feedback on your attention signal and transition time, please email me!
If you don't have an attention signal...it's not too late to introduce one in your class!!!
