Rebel Rights - Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe
September Notes
What an outstanding start to the 2020-2021 school year! It is great to have our students back - both our in-person and distance learners. Thank you parents for your support as we navigate our new normal in school. Our staff has been flexible and creative to meet the needs of all our learners. And most of all, our we are all being safe!
Reminders about Breakfast and Lunch
- All students are currently eligible to receive free breakfast and lunch.
- Each day we take lunch count for the current day and breakfast count for the following day.
- Breakfast and lunch menus can be found here.
- If you have questions for our Food Service department, please contact Pam Melby at pmelby@unitedsouthcentral.org or 507-553-2101.
A Message for Distance Learners
Please remember to take attendance each day! K-4 students have a web clip on their iPad which takes them to a Google Form. 5-6 students have Attendance listed in their daily folder which takes them to their Google Form.
REBEL Time
This year the elementary has built REBEL Time into our daily schedule. This time has been set aside for extra reading and math activities, as well as social-emotional activities. We know that the past 6+ months have been challenging. We believe this time will help us better meet the needs of our students during these challenging times.
