you can prevent these disasters by getting out of town before the disaster strikes. You can also watch the news to know where it will strike. you can warn people so they will be alert and have a chance of not ending up dead.


In 2000 trough 2012 natural disasters caused $1,7 trillion in damage and affected 2.9 billion people.

all over the world in 2011 there were 154 floods 16 droughts and 15 cases of extreme weather.

1.1 million people were killed by natural disasters in 2000 trough 2012.


In 2010, Haiti suffered the deadliest earthquake in almost 500 years, killing 316,000 people .

The total cost of the damage caused by natural disasters in the 1990S reached $650 billion.

There are about 1,900 active volcanoes. .And almost 90 percent of them exist in the Ring of Fire in the Pacific Ocean. The world’s biggest tidal wave occurred in Latuya Bay, Alaska, and was over 1,720 feet tall. In February of 1972, a blizzard that lasted for a week killed about 4,000 people.

The world’s deadliest tsunami was the Indian Ocean tsunami of 2004.

what do the disasters do.

Volcanoes can erupt and catch some thing on fire or explode a town. Tornadoes can catch your house and will basically destroy it. tsunami can take the whole city or neighborhood with its current and destroy the house.
