iPad Serial Numbers
Click here for a faculty/staff devices spreadsheet that is reflective of the time they were given to F/S. Please confirm that your iPad device serial number matches the one on the list. When confirmed, we will be placing a barcode on the device (and its case) so that they can be checked out and tracked in the catalog management system used by the media center.
Please email your responses to dzazzara@rhmail.org confirming that your iPad serial number matches your device, or if not, what serial number they do have. (Please ignore the fact that there might be a leading ’S’ listed on the iPad serial number listed on the spreadsheet that isn’t on the actual iPad serial number). If someone isn’t listed, but has a device, please forward the serial number information to David (commonly noted by a cell highlighted in yellow on the spreadsheet). This information should be sent to David by Jan. 22.

Number Sense PD
Talking Numbers, Making Sense
An informal discussion about building numeracy
What's all the buzz about number sense?
Whether you're already using number sense routines and number talks in your classroom, or you've heard about them but still not sure how to get started, this will be well worth your time! Be an active participant and share with others how you've implemented number talks and how they've impacted your students' mathematical thinking. Or just come to listen and learn from others.

How do I give my students practice for just computation and fluency?
How do I build students' number sense without losing grade level instructional time?
Why can't they add/subtract/multiply/divide?
Why don't they know their basic facts?
What resources can I use so I'm not planning even more?
What questions do I ask if students don't know how to talk about numbers?
