Parent Conferences
Dear Parents,
Parent-Teacher conferences are coming on Wednesday, March 22 and Thursday, March 23. Please be looking out for the parent request form that your student will bring home from their Den class. Conferences will be from 2-4 and 5-8 on Wednesday and 8-11, 12-4, and 5-8 on Thursday. For your conference, you will come and meet with your student's Den teacher for about ten minutes and then will have the opportunity to meet with any other teachers you would like to afterwards.
We are so excited to be working together with you for the success of your student at White Mountain Middle School.

Reminder!
We are halfway into the school year, and what a fantastic year it has been! Eagle Point School District would like to take a minute to remind everyone of the following:
Dress Code: Our student dress code is available on our school's website under student documents. The sun is giving us a preview of what is soon to come. It reminds us that the type of clothes we will be wearing will soon change. Please be sure your student's clothes are school appropriate.
Attendance: If your child will be absent from school please notify the school in advance if at all possible. Please reach out to your child's teachers to get the school work that your student may miss. If your child is going to be absent for an extended period of time, you must notify the office and complete a Pre-Authorization Absence Form. If your student is absent, excused, or unexcused for 10 consecutive days, they will be withdrawn from school and will have to re-enroll when they return.
Weapons: It is a violation of federal law, state law, as well as local school Board policy to bring, possess, conceal, or use a weapon on District property or while attending activities under the jurisdiction of the District. Students found to be in violation will be recommended for expulsion. The required expulsion shall be for a period of not less than one year. The superintendent may, on a case-by-case basis, modify this expulsion requirement.
Replicas of weapons are also prohibited. Therefore, students should not bring anything such as or resembling the following:
● Guns, rifles, firearms, or even toy guns.
● Knives, saws, machetes, swords, axes, razor blades, or even toy knives.
● Fireworks, cherry bombs, smoke bombs, or crackers.
● Airsoft guns.
● Ninja stars, nunchucks, pepper spray. This is not a comprehensive list.
These are examples and the determination of what is a weapon or inappropriate item is at the discretion of the principal. Refer to EPSD9 Board Policy JFCJ Weapons in the Schools.
A full description of student expectations can be found in the student handbook on your school’s website under student documents on the homepage. Eagle Point School District 9 strives to provide clear and accurate communication to our community, especially when it comes to the safety of our students.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
