What's Happening This Week - February 8, 2016

Homework Notice

Masha Allah, we are almost halfway through the school year. Unfortunately, many students are not completing their homework in a timely manner or completing it with their best effort.

Please note that even though every homework assignment is not individually graded, all assignments will be collectively assessed to determine whether the students has truly mastered a certain lesson.

Quran Memorization

Students are being assessed on their individual memorization. Please see this week's Quran log, in shaa Allah, to see their assignments.

Note: Many students are still forgetting to get their logs signed. Please make sure to re-emphasize the importance for everyone to be organized and responsible for their own work.

Islamic Studies: Salah and Technology

Students had to research two different Salah apps and write down a small description which highlighted the key features of the apps. This week, students will work on an article for their blogs which will highlight the top 3 apps that they think are the most useful to use and why.

Islamic Studies: The Timeline of the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)'s Life

Students have been working on their individual timelines of the Prophet's life. As we continue with major events, students will continuing adding them to their timelines.
