BG Students Attend IHSAA Student-Athlete Leadership Conference
From Mr. Daniel . . .
"We took 14 student-athletes (myself & Mr.English) to Plainfield HS for the IHSAA student-athlete leadership conference. The goal of the conference was for the students to become better leaders for their respective schools & to demonstrate proper sportsmanship. The students watched presentations on Champions Together programs, listened to Governor Pence give a speech on his views of leadership, exchanged school t-shirts with other students, and watched a magic show, along with receiving an important message of togetherness & acceptance from the magician, & went to various breakout sessions on proper social media use, scholarships for college, teamwork in the weight room, etc.
Overall it was a great day for the group of students we brought with us and we feel they learned numerous examples of leadership that they will be able to bring back to Beech Grove."
On-Line Registration is Open!
Please register by July 17.
