School Highlights
Time to join!
Club Fair was a success! On Wednesday, August 15, Bonita Vista had its first and only Club Fair of the school year! Club Fair gives Barons a chance to learn about various clubs and organizations they can be a part of throughout the year. The great variety of clubs allows for students to get involved in an activity that captures his/her interest and provides many social opportunities in which students can always make new friends.
Barons Rebuild a Car that Races to Victory!
Boyer the Destroyer! Mr. Hazel's ROP Autoshop students souped up a 1999 Honda Civic for a celebrity race at the Barona speedway and won 1st place July 28. This project started last semester and continued for two months. Chris Boyer from KGB raced her to victory! Click here to watch the race.
From South Korea to San Diego
On Friday, August 10, several of our 9th grade Global Scholars had the opportunity to eat lunch with eight South Korean teachers who came to study education in San Diego County schools. The teachers shared differences and similarities between South Korean and American schools. Additionally, students learned about Korean culture and traditions, such as Korean New Year and some popular games.

Staff/Alumni vs. Girl's Varsity Volleyball
Everyone had positive things to say about the scrimmage. It was an opportunity for our staff and players to connect. The goal was to create more unity in our sport on campus. We want to make sure that our school remembers that we have another Fall sport that is lots of fun to watch. Hopefully we see everyone at all of our home matches.
