PTO Dates

Everyone is encouraged to become an active member of our PTO. Mark your calendars for the following meeting dates: August 30, September 28, October 26, November 29, January 25, February 28, March 29, April 26. The meetings start at 6:00 p.m.

Handling Positive Covid Cases

If we receive information that a student or staff member has tested positive I will email the parents in that student's or teacher's classroom to make them aware. The parents will be asked to monitor their child for symptoms for 14 days. Students will be allowed to continue attending school in-person. https://dhhs.ne.gov/Documents/COVID-19-Schools-Guidance.pdf

If your child starts showing certain covid symptoms at school they will be asked to stay home for 10 days or to get tested for an earlier return. https://www.douglascountyhealth.com/images/COVID-19/A_COVID_Updated_Pages/Documents/Exclusion_ReAdmittance_ill_Students_Staff_8_2021.pdf

We are not longer sending school-wide emails when someone tests positive. The number of positive cases at Neihardt will be updated daily on the district website.
