"Stop the Bleed" Training
Thank you to Chatham and Harwich Fire Departments, and Holly and Justin Tavano for organizing this training for HES staff. Stop the Bleed empowers the general public to make a difference in a life-threatening emergency by teaching them the basic techniques of bleeding control.
Ms. Cook’s and Mrs. Gvazdauskas's second grade classes visited the Cape Cod Family Pantry to donate collected items from the HES community and to tour and learn about the facility.
Mia from Ms. Crowley’s second grade class was inspired to write to author and wildlife photographer Suzi Eszterhas after reading her book Moto and Me with Mrs. Idman in Library. Ms. Eszterhas wrote Mia back and sent her a copy of her favorite photograph, a mom and baby sea otter.!
Ava and Myles earn "water drops" for their HES inspired fishbowl at home!
