Erin Snyder, current 2nd grade teacher, who has been a teacher at Westgate for 4 years will be stepping away from education and pursuing another adventure. In addition, Hannah Kavan, current 2nd grade teacher, who has been at Westgate for 3 years, will also be stepping away from education and pursuing other opportunities. Gator Nation will greatly miss both Miss Kavan and Mrs. Snyder! We thank them for all of the years of helping our students grow and we wish them the best of luck in their new adventures!

Thursday, March 30 is the 6th gr vocal music festival at westside high school. 7:00 pm start time. ALL 6th graders in the district will be singing together.

Kindergarten enrollment for District residents for the 2023-24 school year begins approximately Feb 1, 2023. Please check our website at westside66.org as soon as possible after Feb 1st to start your enrollment online.

Children entering kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before July 31, 2023. Parents may wait to enroll their child(ren) in kindergarten for an additional year. However, Nebraska law requires that child(ren) who reach the age of six prior to Jan 1st of the then current school year must be enrolled in school.
