Back to school health bulletin
My name is Melissa Johnson and I am writing to introduce myself as the new school nurse of the Barnum School District. Many of you already know me from having worked in our school for the last 3 years as both a playground supervisor and as a substitute nurse.
A few things about myself: I am married and have one child who will be a 3rd grader at BES this year. As far as my nursing background and education: I am a registered nurse with a bachelor of science degree in Nursing from Western Governors University. I began my nursing career in 2008 and have since held positions in Medical Surgical Nursing, ICU, and Labor and Delivery.
