Mrs. Huneycutt's Class

6th Grade Language Arts - Arbor Creek Middle School

Next week in Language Arts,

Next week we will be working on our novel projects! Students have four different options to choose from. They can do a book trailer, a readers theater sketch, a character poster, or a comic book/graphic novel. I explained all of the project options and expectations in class today. They were sent the instructions on Edmodo. I have also posted a few examples there as well. Please see below for additional details and requirements.

This project is due Thursday, December 17. Students will be given the entire class period Monday - Wednesday to complete the assignment. We will be presenting them to the class on Thursday. This is a major grade.

I will have white and color paper, markers, colored pencils, and a few other supplies available. I do not have poster board. If a student is doing the character poster, they will need to purchase the poster board. For the book trailer or readers theater, they may record their project with their personal device or their school iPad.
