You need to know that by voting you are making your voice be heard and stating your opinion and how you think the government works and this is very important. Voting is a right of every American Citizenship but order to vote you need to:


  • Be at least 18 years old
  • An American citizen
  • And registered to vote in the state you're planning to vote.

Almost every state has a voter registration deadline, and most states require registration 25 days prior election. How do you register to vote? You can register to vote in person, by mail, email, fax, etc. You are required to complete the registration form by filling out your name, address, age and your party preference. When you're done registering, you can go to the polling place to cast your vote. Are you in the military serving out of the country? People who know they will be out of the area when they are registered to vote on Election Day must requet an absentee ballot before Election day.
