While our school building remains closed, I want everyone to know we are still teaching and learning! Our teachers are working diligently to provide online lessons, virtual meetings, videos and projects to engage and support our scholars. We are committed to our Cougar family and want everyone to know how much we miss them. If you need help accessing your child's eLearning, please email me at

I have received several inquiries from parents and scholars about retrieving personal items. The school remains closed to the public, but we are working on a schedule for item pick up once it is safe to do so. I appreciate your patience during this time.
The Leadership Team is working on a virtual graduation show to honor our 8th grade scholars. We will mail home any awards that scholars receive. I will share more details in the weeks to come.
If you have a child in 7th or 8th grade, and meet the income guidelines, your child could be eligible for the 21st Century Scholars Program. The link to the program can be found here: https://learnmoreindiana.org/scholars/enroll/. The program provides scholarship funds for scholars who attend a college or university in Indiana. The SBCSC 21st Century Scholarship Team is offering online informational meetings beginning this week. There is a meeting on Tuesday, April 28 at 11:00 am (English) and 11:30 am (Spanish) and on Thursday, April 30 at 5:00 pm and 5:30 (Spanish).
