February is the month of Celebrating LOVE and Random Acts of Kindness
Wikipedia *
Random Act of Kindness is a Non premeditated, inconsistent action designed to offer kindness towards the outside world. The phrase "practice Random Kindness" was written on a placemat in Sausalito, California by Anne Herbert in 1982. It was based on the phrase "random acts of Violence and senseless acts of cruelty".
Her book Random Kindness and Senseless Acts of beauty was published in February 1993. It was based on true stories of acts of kindness.
Put your feelings into action and challenge yourself to do random acts of kindness! Simple things that we sometimes take for granted and for some simple examples:
A smile cost nothing
Telling someone you care
Holding a door for someone
Making a card
Cheering someone up
saying hello to someone new
Random Acts of Kindness | Kindness can be the norm.
The Mindful Minute: Counting Blessings
Are you focused on what you have or what you do not have? Make a list of blessings. You'll see that there is much to be grateful for. What are you focused on?
I focus on the goodness of all of you! Grateful for our students, to have a job, shelter, food, and the hope of better days.
