A WORD TO THE WISE...
*THIS WEEK - We have a busy week coming up so make sure you take time away from "school life" this weekend!
*CAR RIDER DUTY - This is running much more smoothly in the afternoons for now. Please continue to send 1 person per team to the front for extra coverage while it remains extremely warm!
*ANNOUNCEMENTS - We are going to bump the start time for announcements to 7:55 for the time being. It seems like we still have many students in the car rider line and busses that have not arrived at 7:50.
*GT HOURS - If you have not let Kara know that you want to participate and you do, please email her by Friday. We need to schedule the dates and get materials ordered.
* CANVAS TRAINING - Our new technology coach will be here on Thursday, August 30 to meet with teams and get your Canvas pages up and running.
*CTT and Active start will begin this week. Rachel is sent an agenda to get us started. Remember that we are going to work towards handing that agenda planning over to the teams as we move through the year. The schedule for that will be:
Monday - fourth, Tuesday - Kinder, Wednesday - First, Thursday - Second, Friday - Third.
*TEAM HUDDLES will start the same week promptly at 7:30 (my goal is to be there by 7:28 so if you are all early birds, we can get it started early) and the two week rotation for the first go round will be:
27 - Kinder, 28 - First, 29 - Second, 30 - Third, 31 - Fourth, Sept. 4 - Specials, 5 - SPED
*TEAM HUDDLE QUESTION FOR THOUGHT - Share one exciting thing that has happened at school since day one!
*FACULTY MEETING - This Monday will be our first faculty meeting. The link to the agenda is below. You will need to bring one sheet of chart paper and markers per team/grade level.
*FIRE DRILL - We will announce the date of the first fire drill at the Faculty Meeting Monday. Before the fire drill, please take time to review procedures with your students.
*BUS TICKETS - Kinder is the only grade that will use bus tickets next week. Please watch closely to ensure that all students go to the correct bus so that we don't misplace anyone.
